The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. in the vicinity of New Harmony Rd., east of St. Joseph Rd.
The circumstances surrounding the crash involved a collision between a 2021 Toyota Highlander SUV and a 2022 Honda 4-wheeler ATV, driven by Robert A. Lutz. According to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, the SUV was found against a tree down an embankment on the north side of the road, while the ATV came to rest in a ditch on the south side.

Subsequently, the ATV began to slow down, prompting the SUV to pass on the left.
