Thomas Griggs, 28, died after he crossed into the reality TV star's lane and crashed into his £130,000 Mercedes G Wagon in Romford, Essex last August.

The east London coroner ruled that the young father, who had suffered multiple injuries and blunt force trauma during the crash, died of catastrophic injuries from a road traffic collision.

An inquest heard yesterday that Mr Griggs had 20 times the legal limit for THC in his system at the time of the crash, The Sun reported. He was also speeding and riding a bike not covered by his learner’s licence.

Mr Cetinay, 27, was not suspected of any wrongdoing in the crash.

The crash is said to have taken place at 11.27am on August 4 last year and Mr Griggs died at 12.04pm the same day.

The accident took place outside Ivy Lodge Farm in Shepherds Hill on a 'semi-residential street involving one lane travelling in each direction of the carriageway' with a 30mph speed limit.

Photos of the scene showed Mr Cetinay's G-Wagon smashed up behind police tap and the damaged motorcycle lying on the pavement.

Paramedics had fought to save Mr Griggs' life, but he died shortly after the accident.

Mr Cetinay was unharmed and was assisting police in the aftermath of the crash, his agent said at the time. The reality TV star was said to be 'traumatised' and 'shaken up' after the fatal crash.

During the inquest yesterday, Mr Griggs' father Kevin criticised Mr Cetinay for not contacting their family after the incident.

But insiders told the newspaper police did not receive a response after Mr Cetinay asked if the family wanted him to get in touch.
